The DRC is one of Africa's largest and most populous countries, yet many young people lack access to high-quality secondary education. Nearly half the population is under 14, creating both a tremendous challenge and an incredible opportunity. In Goma, a city of more than 1.5 million people, we're launching a school designed to equip students with the knowledge, character, creativity, and faith needed to transform their communities and future.

Our team is an intentional intercultural community committed to living out the gospel through education, entrepreneurship, renewable energy, counseling, and neighborhood engagement. We believe lasting change happens when people invest deeply in relationships and work alongside local communities to meet real needs.

As a Literacy & Language Educator, you'll play a key role in helping students become confident communicators, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners.

You'll:

• Teach middle and high school students
• Develop engaging literacy and language learning experiences
• Use project-based and collaborative teaching methods
• Mentor students inside and outside the classroom
• Foster creativity, curiosity, and strong communication skills
• Help build a school culture centered on faith, excellence, and community
• Collaborate with local and international colleagues
• Contribute to an innovative educational model from the ground up
