Join our team in Goma, DRC, where children with special needs and their families often have little to no access to specialized support services. In a country where nearly half the population is under 14 and resources for developmental disabilities are extremely limited, your expertise can help fill a critical gap while bringing hope and practical support to families who are often overlooked.

You'll work alongside local and missionary families to help build a stronger support network for children with communication disorders, developmental delays, and special needs. This is an opportunity to combine compassionate care, professional excellence, and meaningful community impact.

In this role, you will:

• Provide speech and language assessments
• Develop individualized therapy plans
• Deliver speech-language interventions for children
• Support children with developmental disabilities and communication challenges
• Coach and encourage parents and caregivers
• Help train and equip local leaders and community members
• Contribute to building sustainable special needs support systems
• Collaborate with local and international teammates

Preferred qualifications:

• Speech-Language Pathology degree
• Speech-language pathology certification
• Pediatric speech therapy experience
• Special needs experience
• Developmental disabilities experience
• Communication disorders experience
• Assessment and treatment planning skills
• Family-centered care experience
• AAC experience preferred
• Language development expertise
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Training and mentoring ability
• Cross-cultural adaptability
• Christian faith commitment
