Helping more children access education in Uganda
Since 2019 we have partnered with Ugandan schools with the goal to not simply give a hand-out, but to provide a hand-up.
Thanks to your -generosity, hundreds of children are now walking into school with confidence-wearing shoes and uniforms made by skilled local women tailors. Your impact goes even further: you're not just helping more children access education, you are empowering women and communities.
Our vision started with shoes- but with your help we’ve equipped schools with much needed framework: student classrooms, a main meeting hall, a kitchen, security gates, a head teachers house, teacher accommodations, and water tanks and more!
The first two schools- Shalom Primary school in Rakai, and Jubilee in Kampala grew to become self-sustaining. We are now celebrating progress in building Zion Junior school in a village near Kamuli and helping Grace and Favour school near Rakai. Hope is reaching villages that never thought they would have this opportunity.
Our Senior School Scholarship program helps untap the potential of the 85% of students in rural areas who never reach senior school-not because they lack ability, but because they lack opportunity. Monthly or regular gifts help us expand the number of children we can take further-especially girls. Together, we’re changing that reality!
