As you may have seen on the US nightly news, thousands of immigrants from all parts of the world are constantly arriving, trying to find refuge and hope in “the old good US of A". But they have not yet learned that their true refuge is found in Christ alone. What a great spiritual need but an even greater ministry opportunity!
Mark and Nancy have been talking with the Mesa Global US mission leadership to find the proper way to develop a Mesa Global ENCAMINA Global Texas ministry team, using their 17 module training materials. The focus is to prepare and equip members of the Hispanic church community who God is calling to reach out to the thousands of immigrants that are crossing our borders without spiritual direction while risking their precious lives to find the better life.
Mark and Nancy desire to make this international transition smoothly. To do this, the Mesa Global leadership team is suggesting that they raise $40,000 to complete this gigantic transition. This suggested amount includes $15,000 for a vehicle, $15,000 for house set-up, and $8,000 for shipment of housing effects, and $2000 tickets. As you know, the cost of living in the US is quite different from Ecuador.
Mark and Nancy have graciously been blessed in having you as a very important member of their Support team. They have been very appreciative. But the urgency is directly before them, and they are asking the Lord to fill this ministry transition need quickly.

Mark and Nancy have invested over 37 years of their life in the people of Ecuador and Latin America, training, and equipping Kingdom workers. The ministry vision that the Lord gave them seven years ago, ENCAMINA, is now officially Corporation ENCAMINA Global, registered with the Ecuadorian government. An official board has been installed and the ministry team is in place. The majority of the ministry team are graduates of the ENCAMINA missions equipping and training itself.
Mark and Nancy now feel that God is leading them to make the transition back to the US, to the Dallas metroplex and they have set the transition date as September 20th.The motivation is: access to available VA health facilities, family unity and future retirement preparation.
This transition does not mean the end of the Summers´ ministry in Ecuador!It is a practical step to initiate ENCAMINA Global-USA, following the examples of ENCAMINA Global - Peru and ENCAMINA Global - Argentina. They will be the international directors, traveling back and forth from the US to Latin America to assist in the planification, growth and expansion of the ministry and it´s ministry team.That is the reason ENCAMINA is now named ENCAMINA Global.
