We live in Northeast Philadelphia, in one of the most diverse zip codes in the USA! In our neighborhood, God has brought people from all over the world.
Rachel serves as the Executive Director of GROW, a partnering ministry of Mesa Global. GROW is a Christian ministry that serves over 500 refugees and immigrants every year through ESL, life skills, and friendship. Teaching English meets the most practical, felt need that most immigrants have. GROW helps new families adapt to life in USA in a supportive, loving community that embodies the Gospel through word and deed.
Rachel provides strategic leadership and organizational oversight, helping equip others with the foundations to care for and reach their neighbors.
Chris preaches at our church, volunteers with GROW's special events, and serves at a local food bank. Our goal together is to practice radical hospitality with our friends and neighbors and share Jesus' love with all.
