I’ll be working with international students that attend the University of Arkansas. Furniture Friends partners with 6-7 churches in the Fayetteville area and seeks to meet the physical needs of the students while also meeting the needs of the heart. The master students who come with nothing can apply to have furniture donated to them while in the US. They are asked at delivery if they want an American friend.
This opens the door for invitations to Bible studies, church, and all kinds of fellowship to lead to gospel conversations. I will be doing home visits and working with refugees in the area as well. I will also be taking over the social media for Furniture Friends and working in administration so the need of every student is met well.
