As a second career missionary, I want to spend the rest of my life in service to Christ's Kingdom. I wish to see a flourishing Church, grounded in the Word of God, and embodying missional wisdom. A Church that "stands in astonished witness" to Christ as He is understood through the entirety of the Bible.
As a Mesa Scholar I'll be working in a seminary in South America as part of the staff to develop well trained Christian workers of various types -missionaries, church planters, teachers, children's workers - who are vital for the flourishing of God's family and mission, the Church. My desired area of focus will be Biblical Studies, OT and NT Theology, and Biblical Theology. In essence, I wish to help Christians understand the grand design of the Bible, a true story summarized as Creation, Fall, Redemption and New Creation.
