Hello! My name is Maya Karbula, and I am a Junior at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ studying Worship Arts in Media and Production! Since I was young I’ve had a passion for music and have always loved writing music of my own. As I’ve grown with Christ, that passion has turned into writing music for Him and spreading the Gospel through worship and music production. Now, He has blessed me with studying this very passion in school on top of serving in production at church!
In summer 2026, I’ll spend 10 weeks in the UK as an intern with the Alliance for Transatlantic Theological Training (AT3), serving in a local church, receiving theological training, and gaining hands-on ministry experience. Since AT3 is a UK charity, they partner with Mesa Global, a missions organization in the US, to send US interns. Together, they equip workers to serve the local church and prepare for ministry in a post-Christian context. I’m excited to be a part of the work God is already doing in the UK!
- I would love prayers for the preparation process for this mission! I especially ask for prayers that my heart would be prepared for whatever God asks of me during this new season of my life.
- Additionally, prayers that I am able to reach my financial goals during this process would also be such a blessing to me!
- Lastly, I ask for prayers for my personal relationship with Him. My own prayer is that He uses me according to His will, and that I will stand firm on His foundation no matter what!
