Hel, my name is Yessen Tjhin. I'm currently studying at the Moody Bible Institute, as an international student from Indonesia, and a cross-culture kid being half Korean as well.
In summer 2026, I’ll spend 10 weeks in the UK as a summer intern with the Alliance for Transatlantic Theological Training (AT3), serving in a local church, receiving theological training, and gaining hands-on ministry experience. AT3 is an organization that offers 2 Year Apprenticeships &Summer Internships in British local churches to help prepare leaders for ministry in a post-Christian society. Since AT3 is a UK charity, they partner with Mesa Global, a missions organization in the US, to send US interns. Together, they equip workers to serve the local church and prepare for ministry in a post-Christian context.
I see both AT3 and Mesa Global as a great ministry opportunity to serve Christ through different cultures, engaging in discipleship and interacting with people with different cultural backgrounds.
