Since 2023, Cam and Emily have collaborated in a variety of roles with Ethnos México/MisiónPro-Indígena in the city of Chihuahua. We are pleased to welcome them to the LAM Canada family for them to continue their work.
Cam teaches a phonetics course at a missionary training institute for Spanish-speakers, and he also provides language coaching and linguistics consultation to various indigenous church planting teams in the areas of minority language learning, Bible translation, literacy, and curriculum development. The work he does supports indigenous church planting ministries in Mexico. Emily teaches part-time at a school for missionary kids and she also coordinates community development ministries among indigenous people groups. Occasionally, Emily has an opportunity to use her degree in nursing to serve at a rural hospital for the Rarámuri people in the Sierra Madre mountains.
Compelled by the love of Christ and rooted in His love, Cam and Emily desire to participate in His ministry of reconciliation. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, they seek to embody the truth and faithfully serve Christ and His Church by caring for those around them so that He might build up a community of believers that act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly before their God. All this they seek to do with excellence, inspired by the immeasurable glory of God and Christ’s imminent return.”
