My ministry vision and role is to serve as an Urban Educator in Bangkok, Thailand. There I will be teaching English to children from Thailand, Myanmar, and Cambodia, bonding with them through genuine friendship, and sharing the Gospel by loving them as they are. I’m excited about immersing myself in Thailand’s culture, language, and history. This immersion will deepen my connection with those I’m serving on this short term mission internship trip, as well as my own family/ friends, considering my grandmother is Chinese from Thailand. I’m interested in joining our local partners in ministry who will guide us in hands-on experience, specifically developing cross-cultural relationships, and praying for all we encounter. My 2 months overseas will hopefully grow me as an individual and in my faith by learning about God’s presence in Bangkok, Thailand.
- Pray over safe travels to, from, and in Bangkok, Thailand. Also room and board for 2 whole months.
- Pray over my ability to serve the Thai people while building God's kingdom.
- Pray over logistics including fundraising and visa.
