This summer, I will be serving as an intern with Servant Partners, where I will live and work alongside families in under resourced urban communities. I will help with outreach, build relationships with neighbors, and learn from staff who are committed to serving faithfully over the long term. As an International Relations major with a Spanish minor, I am excited to grow in cross cultural understanding and use what I have studied in a real and meaningful way. What draws me to this ministry is its Christian vision of following Jesus by loving others, seeking justice, and being present in the community. Servant Partners focuses on walking with people and supporting lasting change. This internship is an important step toward my goal of working in a faith based international nonprofit one day, where I hope to combine my passion for global issues with my faith.
