From an early age, Eleanora carried a deep longing for God. Though she was raised in a home where faith was forbidden and even speaking about God was not allowed, her curiosity never faded. Drawn by a desire she could not yet name, Eleanora ran away from home at just five years old to attend an Easter service at a church in a neighboring village.
Years later, God met her searching heart through the witness and friendship of believers. By His grace, Eleanora accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. In the seasons that followed, her life was gently transformed. Places marked by pain and suffering were redeemed, and what once felt broken was restored with peace, purpose, and hope.
That transformation shaped the direction of her life. As Eleanora began serving others, she often recognized her own story reflected in the people she walked alongside. Experiences that once caused deep hurt became a source of empathy, allowing her to understand the struggles of vulnerable individuals in a more personal way. Through her training and spiritual growth, she drew closer to God—and in doing so, learned how to draw closer to those in need.

Today, Eleanora leads the Bulgarian organization Association “For Change,” serving orphans, abandoned children, survivors of abuse and extreme poverty, women affected by domestic violence, and elderly individuals suffering from illness and loneliness. Each year, the organization reaches more than 200 people, addressing deep-rooted challenges such as trauma, social isolation, and generational brokenness.
“We strive to show God’s love and mercy where darkness is deepest,” Eleanora says. “This ministry is not only social work—it is a testimony of God’s Kingdom at work in the community.”

Through the scholarship Eleanora received from Mesa Global to study at St. Trivelius Institute in Sofia, she has been further equipped to serve with wisdom, compassion, and a strong biblical foundation. Her education in social work and Christian counseling strengthens the work she is already living out—standing with the vulnerable and pointing them toward hope.
By God’s grace, Eleanora and her team have seen lives transformed, as children move from situations of helplessness into futures filled with promise. Looking ahead, Eleanora hopes to equip and mentor other leaders—multiplying voices that stand for the voiceless and bringing light to some of the darkest places in Bulgaria.
